自分の顔でやってみた。
白人、黒人、エルグレコ風。白人も黒人も何処かに居そうで怖い。自分の子供がハーフならばこんな感じだろうか。エルグレコ風は前髪の雰囲気以外どこにも顔写真データが反映されてないような気がする。
恐らく各人種や男女の写真サンプルを集めて、顔のパーツの位置や大きさ、厚さ、などの平均値をとり、それぞれの差分を当てはめているのだろう。アジア人から白人に変更する時には目の高さを1.5倍にして、額の広さを1.3倍、青を1.2倍。男性から女性には顔の縦横比を1:1に近づけて、それぞれのパーツに丸みを出すフィルタをかけて…などといった雰囲気。
人種、男女、年齢変更については結構真面目に適正パラメータを決めた上で変更しているように見える。でも画家やマンガ風については写真のパーツ配置を僅かに変えて、髪型を乗せただけのような雰囲気が。輪郭ぐらいは参考にしているのかもしれないが、パーツの形にはモデル絵そのもののような気がする。
女性化した結果の画像をもう一度男性の顔としてアップロードし直して、もう一段階女性化するのもまた面白い。でも、どのコンビネーションでも2回以上手を加えると輪郭や境界線が崩れきて、整形手術に失敗したような雰囲気になってくるんだよなあ。最後に輪郭のスムージングをしてもいいような気がするけど、見た目よりかなり難しいかもしれない。
