会社の僕の席には写真が飾ってある。家族や彼女の写真ではなく、友達が焼増ししてくれた旅行の写真や、会社で撮った集合写真など。仕事場に写真が送られてくると家に持って帰るのが面倒臭くて、なんとなくそこに置いておくと飾ってあることになる。
日本の会社で撮った集合写真も送られてきているので、席に置いてある。時々、同僚がやってきてはあれこれ言ったりする。
「えーと、この人とこの人とこの人は中国人でしょ？」
いや、はじめの２人は日本人だけど。
「ウソよ、あなた知らないだけでしょ。この顔は絶対中国人のはずよ」
